One of the most happening events in North Vancouver for three months in the weekends of summer is at Shipyards Market right on the water where an assembly of food trucks, local artisans, diverse performers & musicians as well as hipsters congregate for a fabulous evening of fun. Getting there is easy: it’s a short ten minute ride from Waterfront Station in downtown Vancouver on the Seabus taking you directly to Lonsdale Quay, a large marketplace of food, beverages and specialty shops. From there, take a five minute stroll to Shipbuilders Square: you’ll find a hub of activity ranging from a fleet of food trucks offering tastes of cuisines from around the globe, a beer garden featuring local craft libations, live entertainment plus an indoor craft market showcasing local artisans.
