All suites are equipped with wireless internet.
Our maximum occupancy for a one bedroom suite is four (4) heartbeats. Reservations that arrive with five (5) will be charged for one (1) night and have their reservation cancelled.
A limited number of cribs and playpens are available. Rental is $10.00 plus tax per night per item. We do not provide cots.
Lord Stanley provides fax, photocopy and printing services at the front desk. Wireless internet is available in each suite.
A fitness room and dry saunas are available 24 hours a day. There is no charge for our guests to use these facilities. Guests who are 17 years old or below must be under adult supervision to use the fitness room.
Vancouver does not typically have hot weather. We do not have central air conditioning, although each suite is equipped with its own air conditioning unit. Fans are also available upon request.
Secured underground parking is available and can be arranged upon check-in. Rates are $20.00 plus tax per day or $200.00 plus tax per month; both options include in and out privileges (rates subject to change).
Lord Stanley is located in Vancouver’s West End, a quiet residential area. It is safe to walk around at night although being in a large city, normal precautions should be taken.
Denman and Robson Streets offer a variety of restaurants from fast food to top rated seafood restaurants, as well as ethnic specialties. You will also find your favourite coffee cafes just steps away. There’s bound to be something to appeal to any palate!
World famous Stanley Park has hiking, biking, roller blading and jogging trails, picnic areas, beaches, tennis courts and an outdoor swimming pool. Many people enjoy taking a stroll along the picturesque Seawall. Great fun can be had for children and adults. The West End Community Centre is also a few blocks away with a library, indoor skating rink, gym and recreational activities.
A bus stop is located half a block from our front door. Various transit options are available depending on your destination. Our concierge can easily help you plan your route to ensure that you get to your destination in a timely and enjoyable fashion. As well, “Trip Planner” on translink.ca can help you plan your own route.
Safeway, a major supermarket is located two blocks away, at the corner of Robson and Denman Streets. It is open from 7:00 AM–12:00 Midnight. Whole Foods Market which specializes in natural and organic foods, is three blocks away on Robson Street. It is open from 8:00 AM–10:00 PM. Robson Public Market offers a variety of fresh foods i.e. fruit and vegetables, seafood, meat, and poultry. It is open from 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM.
- Taxi is the most convenient. The fare is approximately $40.00. It is about a 30 minute ride from the airport to Lord Stanley.
- Public Transit. The Canada Line is Vancouver’s new rapid transit rail link connecting Vancouver International Airport (YVR) to downtown Vancouver and Richmond. With the new Canada Line, it only takes 25 minutes from the airport to Waterfront Station. Then transfer onto a bus or take a taxi to our front door. Visit translink.ca to plan your route.
It is approximately an hour drive from Lord Stanley. There are several border crossings which you can access. Our concierge can assist with directions.
