Summer Adventures in the Lord Stanley ‘Hood

It’s the start of another glorious summer in Vancouver when the breathtaking beauty of the city is gorgeously showcased and brimming with activity, especially in and around Lord Stanley Suites on the Park.

If you look outside the window of your suite, you’ll get an unparalleled and completely unobstructed view of the mountains, water and Stanley Park, which begs you to go outside to explore! A great way to begin your day is to stroll, cycle, run or in-line skate along the iconic Stanley Park seawall where you’ll be rewarded with a sweeping panorama of the harbour with a backdrop of downtown Vancouver; or if you’d prefer, a little jaunt aboard Harbour Cruises‘ MPV Constitution paddle-wheeler for a tour around the scenic vista of Coal Harbour and Burrard Inlet.

Another not-to-be missed attraction in nearby Stanley Park is the ever popular horse-drawn tours featuring all the highlights of the park in an hour long ride including the Rose Garden, totem poles, the Lions Gate Bridge and of course the centuries-old red cedar forest.

For a completely different view, and just a few minutes walk from the hotel is English Bay, which is teeming with activity both out on the water and by the water’s edge. C’mon; what are you waiting for; your summer adventure in Vancouver awaits!
